Paula and Johns house was our 3rd help exchange stay in France. It is another beautiful place nestled in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful countryside. They have a lot of Land (around 55 hectares i think), 2 gites (other little houses they rent out), and a mongolian Yurt (see pictures) . The work was much the same as the others although we had some fun projects here, namely constructing the Yurt and building decking for it (was more fun than it sounds). Paula and John themselves were really friendly, so were their 8 dogs, 3 horses and 1 cat! I can only remember 8 of their names so ill leave them off… We had lots of laughs amongst the tasty food and wine plus many games of Cards were played and we loved hearing about Johns friends back home. The 2 weeks we had there flew by and the last night was by far the best, John bought me (Andy) a big bottle of cider and Helen had a glass or 15 of wine. Two friends of theirs were over from England and we all got pretty tipsy to say the least. I havnt laughed that hard since before we have left the UK! We left the next morning to cycle back to Cheronnac, fun times!
